ChemStone, Inc. is pleased to announce the acquisition of HS Manufacturing Group, LLC’s (HSMG) patented PROTĒAN® and CupKOTE™ technologies, intellectual property, and know-how. The novel barrier technologies will be sold world-wide through ChemStone’s existing technical sales network.

ChemStone, Inc. and HSMG have collaborated on several sustainable packaging projects and the two companies have decided to unify under one organization to take the full suite of sustainable barrier technologies, including PROTĒAN® Water, Oil, and Grease barrier technologies, oil absorbent technology, and PROTĒAN® CupKOTE™ poly-free barrier solution for single-use paper beverage cup applications, to customers globally.
